What I (tried to) put in the comment section:
Stealth is already confirmed, which is why it is at the bottom. The priority for Dust is to be good enough to compete with current games. That means being marketable (next-gen console), appealing (new and old players need a reason to play and atm there is not a lot of them), and most of all lucrative (why is there not already a paint bucket...and why are full boosters $40 a month?). People will pay money for simple options if you give them a reason to. Things like racial parity and PvE are a special type of priority because they are kinda supposed to already be there. Some of the things on the list should simply not be considered (atm), like tiericide. That is a change so drastic that it requires considerable development focus. It was possible to implement in EVE because it was the one thing they worked on at the time. The same goes for unified forums and Dust on PC...please don't waste your (Jenza and the rest of the CPM) time and energy on things that would require serious developer focus and add next to nothing to the game.
Honestly you already know what's on the roadmap/what is important...I suppose I should thank you for considering what we have to say (again and again), but really just do what needs to be done. If you are just buffering time then I would prefer some real info, or some progress reports, or even some damn fanfic over the 20th "community input" post.

Some people are actually just wrong. Seriously. It's not fair to let them continue to be wrong.
I don't know anything about writing a play. I wouldn't even know where to start. Would it be fair to validate my opinion on play direction and actors against a professional, experienced screenwriter? Do I really even have an opinion on the matter?

Normally I brush I over your posts because I couldn't get into Dragons Dogma (I wanted to and it's great but I just couldn't be bothered), but geez you couldn't be more correct. I'm at the point where this is almost insulting. Not personally of course but as part of this playerbase, famous and influential or not.
Jenza (and the rest of the CPM) if you still even care to check this post anymore then please take these blunt responses to your actions as a matter of just honesty. I am sure you are trying to promote positivism but your method is failed. I personally very much so want this game to succeed and try to give CCP the benefit of the doubt at every turn, but even "fanboys" like me aren't going to keep saying "soonTM" that when there's 10 people on the server.
Asking for players to give their opinion on their priorities is not reasonable at this point in the game. It is nearing fanfest again and in the lifetime of Dust CCP has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they incapable of reliably delivering their promises. We are just now going to be getting racial suit parity, which has been a clear priority for players since there was even a choice. Vehicle players were asked for their priorities and were promised delivery on 1.4...er 1.5...er uhh sorry 1.7. Until right before 1.5 they were flat out lied to. It is obvious that CCP has their own priorities. Can you see why this is frustrating to players and it breaks the illusion that the Community is even part of the process? There is a consistent bombardment of information detailing what we want for our support and it falls on deaf ears. Oh but now you want to know our opinions? Sure, I'll cross out the "return to sender" from the last few times and mail them right out.
We've been playing pretend for a long time now. Now is the time to prove to some 5000 (that already says something) people that their time and money is better spent here than on that scary list up there. And if you think that means making a youtube survey so that CCP can try to custom tailor more advertising for their fanfest powerpoint, then expect people to be unsettled.
Please keep them focused so this game doesn't die

There is two sides to this. In games like EVE and Dust, a certain charm comes from fighting players that are flat out better than you. It is supposed to challenge you to want to get that good. That is supposed to be your motivation for investing in skills and actually playing the game. Eve does a relatively good job of basically outright telling you that the game isn't possible as a solo experience. You are supposed to go join a player corp and that is how you learn about the more intricate mechanics of what you actually do. Dust kinda barely hints at it and I feel as though a lot of new players are left in the dark. How in the world are you supposed to come from a game like CoD and understand the minute details of shield vs armor tanking? The audience that EVE markets to might have the time to sit down and read about their RPG but you can't say the same for the Dust potential market.
In short, tiericide could be a potential way to equalize newer players with veteran players, but it drastically changes the emphasis on why you should progress. That involves significant balance changes to everything from HP values to Isk values and is just not the solution to the current problems with the NPE. The problem is that like in EVE, new Dust players need to be shown (and by shown I mean a glaring message on the screen) that they need to emphasize joining the social "RPG" experience. That means PVE (how did they think that it was acceptable to "release" without it), and a generally more polished and interesting NPE from the character creation screen onward. Remember the SoE story line that basically gives you a grand tour of hi-sec? And how you need to find some help (as a new player) to fight the last "boss"? That's what Dust needs. Like 10 months ago.
When the game is actually fully established we can consider changing it significantly.
